Why build the Waterfront Community Park?
Hood River County has been missing a key link between the Columbia River and our residents.
Our waterfront park will fill the needs of a diverse population, from school children to seniors.
The Waterfront Community Park Association believes our quality of life is improved through recreational
opportunities, family gathering places and enjoyment of our scenic riverfront landscapes. A Hood River
waterfront park created within these guidelines is one that our community will take great pride in for generations to come!
